Hi Chris

Took a while to find the .exe file buried away in an app subfolder, but ran it as admin and that seems to be working, thanks. Could you correct the manual pirep I put in for ICX981? I didn't put a colon in for the times and it looks like it has accrued 188 hours incorrectly!

All the best
Richard

ACARS / ACARS 'Error sending message t...
Last post by Richard Cuthbert - Dec 10, 2024 12:06
Hi Chris

Having an issue with ACARS at the moment. I have installed the latest version off the website, it starts up fine and I can log in ok. It shows the schedules and everything else as normal. Problem is when I try to start tracking a flight I get an error message on the left hand side saying 'Error sending message to FSUIPC'. I have tried rebooting it, manually restarting FSUIPC, and still getting the error. Have you come across this before, have I done something wrong with the setup. Other programs that use FSUIPC seem to be connecting ok.

All the best
Richard

General Discussion / Re: Longer than expected
Last post by Gary Anderson - Oct 01, 2024 05:26
Eh Chris,

Panels are Hispapanels, but I am changing them out to Opencockpits, prefer the color and feel. The FCU and Efis LCD display are from KAV simulations, I also bought their Radio and ATC LCD's. All the bicolor switching and push pull switching are 3d printed, as some of the knobs, just printed my new Baro knob today. Most of the Korry's come from Open cockpits. The MCDU is a Hispapanel setup with 5" monitor, had to populate the PC board and I wired it to two Mega's. Luckily I was an electronic tech for years, it helps with all the wiring. Its all driven from Mobiflight(freeware), through Mega256's. So far been alot of fun and interfaces well with all the Fenix aircraft.

Post more as I narrow out my layout and add more.

Mahalo,
Gary Anderson

Looks really good!
Which autopilot unit and other controls are you using there?
