For anyone experiencing that the cockpit becomes frozen and unresponsive but the sim (MSFS) is still responding it likely has to do with a gauge setting in the experimental options.

Found here:

General Options -> Experimental -> Set USE NANO VG FOR XML GAUGES to OFF

Doesn't seem to work for everyone that I see on google but it worked for me.  I will caution that if you do this after you load into the sim, it loaded the airplane in a engine running state on both engines.  FMC was cleared and most things were turned on but not all in the overhead panel.  Advice is to be careful in your checks.

I never expected to enjoy this aircraft as much as I did on my most recent flight.  Thanks for the recommendation for the instructional material.  I look forward to implementing it.

I found the in game checklists to be good on my first flight.  It's a shame my avionics crashed mid flight.

Sorry for the late reply, the landing rate in ACARS is measured using the offset that measure vertical speed and is only updated when the plane is not on the ground so I assume your other app is using a different method

Hi.

Recently I was migrated from Microsoft FSX to XPlane-11. I am very happy, but I noticed that I have a discrepancy with the ACARS with the landing rate that the plugging "Landing Rate". For example the plugin tell me that the LR was 198 FPM and the ACARS indicates 308. Another day the day had the same difference +-194/304

Any suggestion? Change the x-plane plugging? Is The "landing Rate" utility for x-plane accurate?
