It's that time of year in Malaysia when we have some of the most horrendous thunder storms, I've lost/destroyed two PCs since living here due to storms, so as soon as I hear a thunder, particularly this time of year I shutdown the PC unplug and take cover.  I've been trying to finish my LOWW_EDDL rotation,  but, I think, two or three times I've been caught out and have had to shutdown...flight lost. Well today I thought I would try flying first thing this morning, but things didn't workout, yes, storm caught yet again aaahhh.  This time though I remember to use FSUIPC autosave.  Here I must say I've never had much joy using this with my other VA's recovery system so you could say I was in the doubter group, but I must tell you that Chris Hulme needs to be congratulated on his version of this function; I've just used it; it works perfectly!  So many thanks ChrisH you've saved me from flightsimmer's madness you know what I mean, PC takes flight that sort of thing.  I should also say the FSUIPC autosave worked like a charm too.

Take care y'all

Chris Hulme (1003)

Glad it worked well for you, it's taken a good while to create and Chris L is very particular and wouldn't have let me release anything thats sub standard!
