Q400 FS2crew problem?

Hello Everyone,

Well, this is my first time using Fs2crew and things are not going very well.
I can not hear the FO at all and the A.test (audio test) keeps giving me a "Check Vol".
(I hear nothing from FS2crew during the audio test)

According to the manual, I should have the Int/Serv volume up and make sure it
is not muted on the Captains audio control panel.   I have checked both of these but still
get a "Check Vol".

Is it something in the Q400 that I am setting wrong or something outside of FSX?

Thanks,
Bill

FYI, Speech recognition appears to be good though, according to the dsp.

The A.Test isn't dependent on the aircraft, so it must be a configuration issue in FS2Crew or Windows. I'm away from my PC at the moment but I'd check your settings in FS2Crew for which audio device is selected and also try pressing the HS headset button in FS2Crew and then redoing the a.test.

Check volume suggests it's defaulting to a Windows audio output device that is either muted or has no speakers/earphones connected to it.

Thanks Chris!

Actually, after looking over the news on the forum about Fs2crew, I realized that i may have not
installed the required update. "Doh!"  :o   Now I feel stupid.

My last flight in the Q was in late March,
but I did not install any updates to the Q at the time.

Oh well, will have to update the Q tomorrow and see if everything works out!
Got an Intercity flight in tonight though (EGPH-EGBB).   ;D
