What operating system are you running, and also did you install the .Net Framework?

Yes framework was installed because It said, unistall or repair, I did the repair and reboot, unfortunately, it didn't work

How far does it get when you launch it or does it crash straight away?

  • Open ACARS
  • Click Windows Start button > Type event in Search programs and files field.
  • Select Event Viewer

Navigate to Windows Logs > Application, and then find the latest event with "Error" in the Level column and "Application Error" in the Source column

See if you can find anything that relates to ACARS and then send me a screenshot

Just a thought. Have you checked your firewall/antivirus? Whenever there is an upgrade, my Norton software removes the file saying it is dangerous and suspicious!! (Probably an EasyJet rival, Chris!!) I have to switch it all off, download and setup Acars. Only then can I put the Norton back on.

Thats a strong possibility, I think the reason Norton picks it up is because its only a small program and it connects to the web, reads the registry and also interfaces with FSX so thinks its trying to do harm (When its not, I can promise you that one  ;D )

Try what Keith said, if not try what I said and let us know!

I think you can set programs as trusted programs in most Antivirus software so that it doesn't keep flagging it up?
