Anyone else notice that the ILS at rwy 5L  at EDDL "Dusseldorf" is not working?  Freq 109.5. 

The frequency changed, try 110.95.

Most FSX aircraft get their radio-navigation information from FSX's internal database which is now a decade out of date. A few addons, such as the Majestic Q400, use their much more recent internal AIRAC FMS database for frequency information. Therefore, if there's been any changes since 2006 you'll not be able to refer to the FSX in-built map for information, one of the easiest alternative sources is aircharts.org for aerodrome information, and skyvector.com for en-route charts 

I had a similar issue at Rotterdam, was online at the time on VATSIM and the controller didnt really know what was going on and neither did I when I could intercept the ILS! Not my finest hour 

110.95 Did the trick..  I use the latest Airac data in both Pro ATC and the Q400, but it has the old frequency in it. I found a site that has a file that is supposed to update all the ILS frequencies for P3D and FSX, but frankly I am hesitant to run the update, for fear it will screw up more than it fixes, since this is the first time I have run into a missing ILS.

I decided to install this update for Europe , read and followed the directions, and it worked fine.
