Recently went to the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Liverpool Airport for a meeting with work and during our lunch hour spotted these out of the back. I already knew they were there but thought Id go and have a look. Its open and you can wander around and get right up close to them. I believe by appointment you can actually go inside them and have a look. The Jetstream has a simulator inside the cockpit and also its own website http://www.jetstream-club.org/

Going to see about going with Chris, and if anyone here is interested theyre welcome to join us!

Video here from YouTube showing the sim in action

YAY works outing! I know for most people it will be too far to travel to just see two blokes and three (bits of) aircraft, but you're all welcome  :)

Got to go inside the JS41, the guys at the project were really nice and even let me fly a quick circuit!

The sim runs X plane, its pretty easy to fly, they did just a quick start so I was ready to fly, but apparently you can do a full start up with the checklists in it. The guy was saying that Eastern Airways JS41 pilots have been down and flown it as well. Pretty small space to be sat in, and its a strange feeling being inside a real aircraft and flying a sim.
