Title: Hello fellow pilots
Post by: Gerald Plotts on Aug 08, 2020 20:14
I haven't been on in seems like forever due to recurring health issues. Things went downhill for me after my hip replacement, no additional surgery looms ahead. I'm trying to do a flight today, and found I just about had to relearn everything about the Q400. The drugs I take for pain really don't help much :-)
Hoping to get a few in before the next bout with surgery

Hi Gerry, really pleased to hear from you we were getting worried! I'm sure you'll pick it up all again quickly.  :)

It's been a bad few months. Besides all of the Covid-19 craziness, I'm heading for surgery again. December 2, for  a 2-3 day stay for more back surgery, then 2-4 weeks recovery. Getting a Q400 flight in this afternoon to remember what it feels like to fly while I'm recovering. Stay strong gang, Wheels up!

Wishing you a speed recovery Gerry, this place isn't the same when you're not about!

Back in the air for a few flights before the end of the year. Almost had to re-learn the Q400. But, it looks like I'm doing ok. Stay strong gang!
