Serious and prolonged flooding in the South West of England (http://www.itv.com/news/update/2014-02-10/helicopter-footage-shows-impact-of-thames-flooding/) has cut off major rail and road links to the Cornish peninsula. This has led to an increased demand for flights between Exeter (EGTE) and Newquay Cornwall (EGDG/EGHQ) to other UK cities. In response this, we have started several additional services on a temporary basis:
- Exeter-Birmingham (2x Jetstream 41 daily)
- Newquay-London City (an extra 1x Jetstream 41 daily)
Flight | Dep Time (Z) | Arr Time (Z) | Departure (ICAO) | Arrival (ICAO) | ICX1C | 07.00 | 08.05 | Newquay Cornwall (EGDG/EGHQ) | London City (EGLC) | ICX2C | 08.20 | 09.25 | London City (EGLC) | Newquay Cornwall (EGDG/EGHQ) | ICX3P | 09.40 | 10.10 | Newquay Cornwall (EGDG/EGHQ) | Exeter (EGTE) | ICX4C | 10.40 | 11.35 | Exeter (EGTE) | Birmingham (EGBB) | ICX5C | 11.50 | 12.45 | Birmingham (EGBB) | Exeter (EGTE) | ICX6C | 14.45 | 15.40 | Exeter (EGTE) | Birmingham (EGBB) | ICX7C | 15.55 | 16.50 | Birmingham (EGBB) | Exeter (EGTE) | ICX8P | 17.05 | 17.35 | Exeter (EGTE) | Newquay Cornwall (EGDG/EGHQ) | NB: These routes are available using the "Charters" button/tab in ACARS between the 11th and 25th Feburary, they will not show up using the normal schedule search functions or outside of that date range.

Hi Chris,
Like the idea of increased flights to southwest of the UK. My only comment is they are limited to the J41. Would the Dash not also be used?
Regards,
Keith
In this instance we went with the J41 so we could provide a good frequency but don't worry, there will be Q400 charters in the future :)
