Title: 11th-25th February, Charter, Flooding in South West England
Post by: Chris Liu on Feb 10, 2014 18:59
Serious and prolonged flooding in the South West of England (http://www.itv.com/news/update/2014-02-10/helicopter-footage-shows-impact-of-thames-flooding/) has cut off major rail and road links to the Cornish peninsula. This has led to an increased demand for flights between Exeter (EGTE) and Newquay Cornwall (EGDG/EGHQ) to other UK cities. In response this, we have started several additional services on a temporary basis:

Hi Chris,

Like the idea of increased flights to southwest of the UK. My only comment is they are limited to the J41. Would the Dash not also be used?

Regards,

Keith

In this instance we went with the J41 so we could provide a good frequency but don't worry, there will be Q400 charters in the future :)
