Thanks Steve. Everyone please remember to backup your textures, aircraft.Cfg and mjc84.ini in to a different folder before installing the update. This hotfix requires 1.008 and 1.00801 to be installed first.

QuoteCHANGE LOG VER. 1.00802

Instruments
+ Incorrect altitudes propagation of the LNAV waypoints on the ND is fixed

Systems
+ Composite Brakes temperature simulation improved
+ Livery-specific passenger announcements logic fixed
+ incorrect DME receive ranges are fixed
+ BC mode is working
+ added AUTO_RUDDER_FACTOR into the [FLIGHTCONTROLS] section of mjc84.ini. This factor will be taking into account when the autocoordination is enabled in the FSX
+ Receiving range for NDB/VOR/DME adjusted

+ Cone of Silence simulation repaired
+ VOR OS mode is repaired

FMS
+ Procedural Turns navigation fixed
+ RCL function fixed
+ Manual overfly waypoints selection fixed
+ Overfly flag retrieval as part of the procedure from the database is implemented
+ RNP based NAV deflection is added
+ LNAV turn anticipation logic is re-done
+ Automated activation of VNAV during approach is added
+ VNAV transitions between waypoints with different altitudes will be smoother
+ SIDs will be scanned for runway transitions when presented by the FMS (LFPG case)
+ Fixed Intercept to AF Curve transition
+ Fixed approach course activation timing
+ Fixed VNAV governing within the arc path
+ FAF course will now be set the same as EOA course
+ VNAV will not provide a slope for offset approaches

oops  :-[

Have installed the update, but didn't back anything up prior to doing this  :-\

I forgot as well, but the ICX livery was still there in FSX. The load manager had different figures in it though.

Have you all got the latest version 1.00802b?  Just installed it and about to try it out.

Yes. Works fine for me  :)

Me too Sean all good here, did you notice the auto rudder in the ini file what it is its default setting, I haven't seen too much info on it have you?  Also what is the default terbulance setting.

one for Chris here if we want to divert how do we flight log  it, is it allowed with this VA?

Cheers

AUTO_RUDDER_FACTOR: "for those who don't have the required hard for proper manipulation of the aircraft during certain phases of flight", "this factor will be taking into account when the autocoordination is enabled in the FSX".

I'm still not really clear on what it does based on the above quotes, but I'm guessing that if "auto rudder" is enabled in FSX this factor tunes how much the rudder will counteract torque and coordinate turns in the Majestic Q400, up to a maximum of 1 (which means you shouldn't need to make any rudder inputs). I think it is set by default to 0.5, which would mean the amount of rudder input you need to make is halved when auto rudder is enabled in FSX.

Turbulence scalar: Controls how much turbulence affects the aircraft, it is 0.75 by default but you may wish to turn this down to 0.45 if you're using ASN or experiencing exaggerated turbulence effects. The general consensus is that setting it to 1 results in unrealistically harsh turbulence.

Diversions/alternates: You can divert if required but you need to make a note of where you diverted to and why in the log comments, e.g. "Diverted to EGKK due weather at destination which closed aerodrome". Please remember that according to the Intercity Code of Conduct (CoC) "6) Members are not to simulate emergencies whilst flying for Intercity. Genuine emergencies are permitted and should be handled according to SOPs".
