Tried starting   the acars  and it  said update use  the updater ,  tried that and it  came up with error missing component comctl32.ocx or one of its components not registered or missing

Try downloading ACARS again uninstall the version you have and install this one.

Hi getting the same problem but the missing or invalid file is MSCOMCTL.OCX in my case.
downloaded from the link above. installs ok but get the error when I run the program.
The original acars runs okay but as with the previous poster it wont let me update.
anyone else getting this and is there a solution?
