Title: Incomplete flight [Solved]
Post by: Michael Meyer on Feb 15, 2016 15:21
Team,

I made the flight ICX644 today but forwhatever reason the automatic detection of ON/OFF Blocks failed when I arrived at EDDH.

Please could you check if there is a logfile under the ID 16021514231142.

The ACARS did recognized OFF BLOCKS but not the ON BLOCKS. As it is was perfect until January I think something has broken the logic with the last update.

Regards,
Michael

Hi Michael

I've recovered this for you, it would seem it got stuck in the climbing stage, when in the climbing stage it looks for VS to be 0 indicating the cruise has begun, seems that it hasn't registered which is why the ON Blocks button failed to appear.
I agree there is a bug somewhere though, as it seems we have solved 1 issue with using the Condition lever position to register On/Off Blocks but I seem to have broken something else namely with the Continue Flight button.
Haven't had chance to investigate yet as real life has been busy!

Hi Chris,

thanks for your help!

Looking at the report there seems to be also a problem in catching the actual airspeed which sometimes was reported as zero  ;) .

So flying only with manual ON/OFF BLOCK will help or is the issue more related to inflight data gathering?

Thanks,
Michael
