Title: FLight log for a flight showing incorrect arrival airfield.
Post by: Graham Bannister on Aug 12, 2014 03:51
Hi guys
I just completed flight ICX245 EIKN to EGBB....after I do a lovely landing at EGBB on RWY 15 and park then shutdown, I go to file the flight log.
Its showing Arrival EGPH even though I am clearly on EGBB parking apron...the time was also weird for some reason. As you can see from the flight progress chart...
Help!!!!!!!

According to the schedule ICX245 is EIKN-EGPH.
ICX243 is EIKN-EGBB.

My guess is you inadvertantly selected 245 when you wanted 243, so ACARS thought you were flying to EGPH and that's what it logged.

Chris'll be getting some bus hire bills :)

I did it once too, but as the boss I sneaked in and changed it myself before anyone else noticed LOL

Well then...Wonder what the CAA will have to say to me.... ::) :-\
The need for carefully checking before filing. And the importance when using VATSIM for there to be controllers on. But I guess 2200 my time is 0200UTC so everyone in UK perhaps sleeping.
Could that flight be deleted from the log?.....
