Title: Weather
Post by: Graham Bannister on Apr 15, 2018 21:52
Hi guys.
I was using the real world weather with fsx for a long time. However notice that it doesn't seem to change at all nowadays.
Whats a good freeware weather program I can use that will work with fsx and allow me to get accurate real world weather on vatsim flights etc

Not sure about freeware Graham, but I use Active Sky next, and have been for about 3 years now. It's probably the best in my opinion.

FSXWX is awesome, I wholey recommend. Whilst ActiveSky 2016 is probably better, I wouldn't say it's $30 better (although it has cool effects when you fly through cloud).

The beauty of FSXWX is you don't need to spend hours tweaking and agonising over the options, you just install it and it works. Why can't everything FS be that simple!?

Thanks Gents
Will look at that. Seems about easy enough for me to continue having fun without too much stress.

Hi Graham, I can only agree. FSXWX is a VERY good freeware program, easy to install and works like a charm. Recommended!!
