Was looking at the turnaround times for some routes I fly.
Is it normal to have a 15 minute turnaround?
For example ICX209 departs Edinburgh at 07.15 and arrives at Blackpool for 08.10.
It then departs Blackpool at 08.25 for Edinburgh.
FS2Crew for example models 30 minute turns. Is it not pretty tight for offloading, loading, fueling etc?

Thanks
Greg

At easyJet we have 30 min turnarounds for an Airbus 320 with 180 PAX, and in that time we complete everything you listed!

At Intercity our JS41 only holds 29 PAX so Id say 15 mins is plenty of time to turn it around in!

Cheers for the quick reply Chris!
I better get a move on and work on my time management haha!
Thanks

15-20 minutes on a J41 or Q400 is tight, but this is the pressure real life crews face everyday; Ryanair manage to get their 737-800s turned around in just 20 minutes sometimes! You will find occasionally we have 30 minute turn arounds to help us absorb delays.

Remember with FS2Crew that you don't need to go through the entire pre-flight procedure after your first flight, you just go straight in to the turn check (and any flight planning needed can be done in the previous flight's cruise if there's time). On first flight I use the FF button to speed things up anyway!

15 mins is a challenge so don't worry much if you overrun, it takes practise  :)

A hot poker tends to help the passengers off quicker!

Haha will need to get lots of practice!
Thanks for getting back to me :)
Planning in the cruise - brilliant tip!
