Title: Sneaky peak of new ACARS flight resume feature
Post by: Chris Hulme on Feb 18, 2014 17:06
Thought Id give you all a preview of our upcoming ACARS V2. Including the flight resume feature.
The idea is that if FSX or ACARS crash you can resume your flight from where you left off.

When loading ACARS if an incomplete flight is found it will show you a Flight Resume button

You will then be able to position your aircraft within the set parameters, and once you have set it you can continue your flight!

This looks awesome!   I originally offered to beta  this feature, but was unable to.
At the time my FSX was giving me a lot of problems.   So I apologize for that.
But this feature will be very helpful!   My FSX tends to crash after a nice long flight : (.
It appears to be related to the use of ENB.   But I really like the affect that ENB adds to the Sim.

I love ENB serie but I cannot use it on my system, it creates weird graphic anomalies and frequent CTDs, I think it maybe because I have ATI/AMD graphics. Took me a while to work out it was the cause. I can use Shade okay, but can't get that looking how I want.

Yeah, FSX is a real pain sometimes!  For flight sim, you need a ppl and a computer science degree!   Now mine crashes when I go from full screen to window or back again.   It just started acting up at lot this week and I don't know why!!
So I did a flight in window mode last night for EGPH to ENZV.  Not crazy about window mode but Atleast the flight was completed and flight log submitted.
Also,  I have Shade too which has not has not created any problems.
