Title: Merry Almost Xmas...
Post by: Bill Ant on Dec 24, 2014 17:13

Well, I finally completed an Intercity Airbus flight this month using the A319 in Intercity Livery...
Thought it would never happen as FSX kept crashing..  For some reason, mine system does not like the
MCDU pop up.   Oh well
Hopefully, I will start to pick up speed on more flights.

Takeoff from EGPH, heading to EHAM.   Landing was not pretty due to pilot error, and 30 kt gust.   But landing rate was good.
The UK2000 EGPH is really nice!

Looks good Bill! You dont have to use the pop up if you use the right hand MCDU you can enable the view bar and it has spme preset views in the VC and you just click the one you want to switch quickly! Easier than using the pop up. Also if you press the vertical black bar to the left of the keypad you can enable and disable keyboard input, makes entering waypoints a lot quicker!

Hey,

Thanks for the tips Chris!  Especially the usage of the key board.   I really need to study the Airbus a little more.

Have you tried Fs2crew for bus?  I hope to purchase that soon.

I haven't tried it to be honest, I find the bus easy enough to fly as a 1 man operation that i've never tried it.

The JS41 on the other hand!
