Hi all,

I've been going through the process of creating Intercity Airways custom files for use with PFPX (I've done the Schedule and Routes so far) and am thinking it would be nice to have an Intercity Airways custom OFP format to use. At the moment I've been playing around by taking parts I like from different company OFP's (there are quite a few different formats available) and combining them to create a custom one however I thought it might make sense to base it on a format of an airline similar to what Intercity Airways is based on. So does anyone have a copy of a OFP from an airline like Flybe they can share? I've had no luck so far finding one on the net.

Also, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions regarding this or has a preference to a particular format can you please post here.

Regards,
Serge

Well, I didn't have any luck locating an OFP template from a turboprop operator however Chis H was kind enough to share an OFP from a UK airline . I had an existing template similar to it and was able to make some slight modifications to make it a bit more accurate and also add in some items particular to ICX. Unfortunatyely PFPX can't populate all the fields (such as MORA and TROPO) and some fields are irrelevant to ICX aircraft at the moment (such as CI) however I quite like to look of it overall. Here is a link to a flight plan I created as a test if anyone wants a look:

I'm not sure if others will find it useful (actually, I'm not sure if anyone else uses PFPX in this VA), however I'll add it to the PFPX package I provide to Chris to add on the downloads page.

Feel free to make any suggestions or comment if you pick up any errors, etc.

Regards,
Serge

Hi Chris,

Can you hold off on that upload? I'll send you a new package later today with the OFP Template included along with a few extras.

Cheers,
Serge

Thanks Chris. Hopefully in the future the developers will add some extra fields that are currently missing to be able to get it more accurate however for our flight simming needs it's more than adequate.

It's well worth the investment IMHO.

Cheers,
Serge

I've made some more tweaks to the OFP Template to bring it closer in line with the "UK Airline" it's based on. I've also modified the DH8D Aircraft Profile included in the package to match the equipment listed in Intercity's SOP.

Changes as follows:

Aircraft Profile Change – DH8D equipment updated to match Intercity Airways SOP
OFP Change - OBS/Prog to correct date/time format
OFP Change - Navlog to expanded format
OFP Change - FL on correct line in Navlog
OFP Added - Max Shear & Waypoint
OFP Added - IAS in Navlog
OFP Added - SAT in Navlog
Readme Added – Steps to duplicate Aircraft profiles with different Rego and Tail Numbers

I should get around to sending the updated PFPX Package to Chris later today for him to upload. Also, in addition to the NATS and VATroute routes I include in the package I'm now starting to compile additional validated routes which I'll include in a later update once I have a few of them.

Cheers,
Serge
