You can use the flightplan remark OPR/INTERCITY to identify your airline and callsign to controllers.

To check online ATC coverage:
• SimAware (VATSIM) (https://simaware.ca/)

We recommend the following websites to obtain realistic routes (these are listed in order of preference):
• IVAO Flight Plan Database (requires free registration with IVAO) (http://www.ivao.aero/db/route/)
• Real World Flight Plan Database (requires free registration) (http://www.edi-gla.co.uk/fpl/login.php?go=/fpl/index.php)
• EU Route Pro (I believe this is the database powering vRoute) (http://www.euroutepro.com/fp/fp_main.php)
•  UK CAA Standard Route Document (Flights entirely within UK and Ireland only) (http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/index.php%3Foption=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=186&Itemid=258.html)
• EuroFPL (requires free registration)
• ASA Link RouteFinder Free (http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/)

And for en-route charts:
Worldwide SkyVector (http://skyvector.com/) (provides hi and low level, also VFR)
