Title: Manchester Fly-in Sunday 4th June
Post by: Graham Bannister on May 26, 2017 18:44
Good day guys.
I was reading on Vatsim Facebook page that they may be planning some sort of fly-in to Manchester from any destination/any aircraft on Sunday 4th June in recognition of the loss of life in the recent bombing. They seem to be planning to arrive there at a specific time.

Are any of you guys aware, or perhaps can we at Intercity Airways not do something similar. Encourage ALL our Pilots to fly-in from somewhere to Manchester. May mean some charter schedule or other as no scheduled service on J41 to Manchester.

Just asking.

There's a good selection of MAN flights available straight out the schedules, with DH8D from EDI and LCY, and A320 from DUS.

I can pop a couple of charters on for those attending should they want to go elsewhere, but you'll need to let me know ASAP so I can get them in to the system (departure zulu time and airport, destination, aircraft type).

Not sure I'll be able to make this one myself, but would be nice to get a few of the guys together.
