We're moving forward on our tour of Denmark, and has now come to the third largest airport, Aalborg - EKYT.
Aalborg airport has two runways, with runway 08L / 26R as the primary, which has a length of 2654 m. and offers ILS landings, if the weather and visibility is poor.
Several major airlines have daily traffic at the airport, including Norwegian and SAS as the most active.
Expect excellent ATC service, all the way through Danish airspace, from Copenhagen control and down to Aalborg tower that guides you safely to the gate.

Aalborg is only served from Dusseldorf at the moment (we're looking at adding flights from other airports) with a daily flight using the JS41 on ICX930 inbound and ICX931 back to DUS.
