Title: Flap selection with FS2Crew
Post by: Graham Bannister on Jan 19, 2019 17:39
Good day
Is anyone else having an issue with flap selection on the J41 when using FS2cew?

I ask for flap 9 get a response and the flap is selected however it is not gated.
I ask for 15 and then it slowly moves to 9.
The only way to get 25 flap for landing is to repeatedly ask for flap 25 a couple times.
If not during landing checks the FO says "check flaps"
Thanks
Graham B

Never seen this myself but all I can think of is there's a control conflict somewhere. Do you have your flaps mapped to an axis?

I have them linked to a vontrol on my saitek column. But tjis has always been there. Its just the last 5 fkights or so that I have noticed this.

Will keep trying different things.

If it's an axis (not a button) it could be the axis has become noisy and is therefore constantly giving input to override FS2Crew. Go to controllers calibration in Windows, don't complete the calibration but look at raw data and see if any are jittery
