Title: Auto Pilot
Post by: Scott Bennett on Sep 25, 2017 15:20
Does anyone have info on how to setup and get the auto-pilot working?  I seem to be missing something as the only thing I can get to work is HDG hold.  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.

PMDG JS41 IAS hold does not work on FSX SE or P3D. PMDG said they had an update to fix that ages ago, but it never materialised. So you're stuck with VS or pitch hold.

Ill keep searching for some guidance.  I cant seem to get it to hold altitude. It nose dives every time. I did figure out why my Nav wasn't working. I didn't select LNAV.  Doh!

Autopilot on? Lights for this are on the pedestal.
ALT hold selected? This is centre of the glareshield. Note ALT target altitude is set to your current altitude whenever you engage it, it pays no attention to what's set in the window (the alt knob and window are for ALT SEL)
