Intercity Airways operating procedures are as outlined by the CAA, EASA, ICAO and airframe manufacturer documentation (such as the AOM, FCOM and FCTM), as applicable. On this page we only set out procedures that deviates from these sources or areas which they do not cover.

• Configured to seat 46 passengers (at 32" pitch, 4 abreast) operating with 3 crew (2 flight crew and 1 cabin crew).

• Engine start is not to be commenced until the aircraft is fully closed up. A GND PWR ON start should be performed for the first engine if a GPU is available to reduce wear on batteries (second engine can be cross started from the first)

• Use of hotel model is discouraged and only permitted when TAT exceeds 18'c or there is no GPU available and battery powered operations are expected to last over 45 minutes. Run time must be kept to the minimum required (when pre-cooling a heat soaked cabin increase thrust levers to control lock position to increase air flow to packs but reduce engine run time); use of external conditioned air is preferred to hotel mode for pre-cooling.

• Powerback is only to be practised where unavoidable and must be performed by the captain with the assistance of a marshaller. It is preferable to be pushed back if this can be obtained in a timely manner, or turn the aircraft around on the stand if there is sufficient room.

• If the anticipated taxi to the runway exceeds 5 minutes, a single engine taxi will be performed with engine 2 and then engine 1 started within 2 minutes of the runway (4 minutes if OAT <5'c). Do not single engine taxi on contaminated taxiways or when wind >12 kts.

Takeoff is always bleeds off;

• When taking off from contaminated runways, continuous ignition must be used and reduced torque takeoffs are not permitted.

Climb at ### KIAS

Cruise at ### KIAS. Flights 45-70 minutes should cruise at FL180-FL200

• After landing, a single engine taxi will be performed once engine 1 has had 120 seconds in ground idle and 30 seconds in feather to cool down, unless the taxiway is contaminated or when wind >12 kts.
