My Acars is stuck checking for updates, I tried reinstalling but has been doing this for ever. I just downloaded it and it worked twice but now it just checks for updates.


Any help would be appreciated!

Yay! Sorry no need I fixed the issue by clearing my registry. You should spread the word with other people in case they have the same issue.

Which part of the registry did you clear? ACARS only stores your Pilot ID in the registry? When checking for updates it checks the version number on the login screen against the current version on the server? Did you disable your anti-virus whilst updating? I know a few of them dont like ACARS updating itself.
